Quant inverter voltage regulators are one of the best regulators on the market of Ukraine in terms of quality of work and functionality. There is a tradition in such products to lay social functions that benefit not only the consumer but also their environment. For example, when buying a hybrid Lexus, the buyer himself could not even think about saving gasoline on it. However, they will get this savings, and society will get much less damage from the exhaust of a hybrid car. The popularity of electric vehicles, despite the initial temporary inconveniences with charging (charging stations have not been common before) was ensured for the most part the desire not to shit in the atmosphere.

The Quant voltage regulator takes care not only of the consumer, but also of the power supply as a whole. It can also save the consumer a little more money if they pay for reactive power (office, production), but this is not always the case, because the household consumer does not pay for reactive energy at all, because the household meter does not take it into account.

The reactive power compensator in the Quant voltage regulator is able to compensate from 2A to 3A reactive current (at low mains voltage the compensation is bigger). These values are approximately equal to the value of the reactive component of 20 fluorescent lamps with ballasts with a power of 40W. Without a compensator, they would consume about 5.5A, with it it is 3.5А. A maximum of 500VAr*h of reactive power can be compensated in a month. Sometimes this is enough to enter the COS “φ” in terms of not exceeding its consumption, and to avoid paying for excessive generation of reactive power in the office or in small production. Of course, this will not replace compensators in large-scale production, there is a different approach (although the Quant voltage regulators themselves can provide regulation of large-scaleproduction, since they are able to work in parallel in a group, and the compensation currents are added together.).

Additionally, the power compensator operates as a noise filter from the mains and improves the voltage shape. nteresting fact: with the mass introduction of reactive power compensators in India there were an additional 30% of generating capacity “found”. That is, these are direct losses that occurred in transmission lines, transformers and generator windings. This is the social function – if each regulaor in each house (say from at least the end of last century) was equipped with the same reactive power compensator, the manufacturers would thus significantly improve the quality of grids, reduce sags at high loads and losses for power suppliers.
